Advice with implementation behind it.

Recommending a platform is easy. Standing it up in an occupied building, training the site team, and keeping it running is the hard part. We stay certified and current on the systems our clients rely on so we can do both.

How we choose technology

Three tests before anything goes into a building.

Operators do not have a technology problem. They have a too many disconnected systems problem. We help clients bring the right technology into their buildings without the guesswork.

Does it fit the building?

A retrofit in a 1970s walk-up and a new build have nothing in common. We plan for the stock you actually own, including the wiring, the doors, and the budget.

Can the site team run it?

If it needs a specialist on call, it will not survive turnover. We train the people who will use it daily and write the SOP before we hand it over.

Does it serve a pillar?

Every platform we deploy has to make a building measurably safer, more secure, cleaner, or more compliant. Novelty is not a business case.

QuickCasa

QuickCasa is an AI leasing platform built for property managers. It handles lead capture and qualification across channels, automated follow-up, tour booking, property websites, and resident communication, with everything feeding one CRM instead of four disconnected inboxes.

We partner with QuickCasa on leasing process optimization, bringing AI into the funnel where it shortens response times and frees site teams to do the work that needs a person.

Where we use it

  • Leasing process optimization and lead management scorecards
  • Lease-up acceleration for new and repositioned properties
  • Leasing and CRM technology onboarding
Smart access

Design and implementation

iLOQ

iLOQ builds battery-free smart access systems. The lock draws its power from the turn of the key, which removes the battery replacement program that makes most digital locking expensive to run at portfolio scale.

Our team designs and implements iLOQ across existing buildings and new construction, including the retrofit planning that decides whether a rollout is straightforward or painful.

Where we use it

  • Battery-free smart access design and rollout
  • Retrofit planning for existing buildings
  • Access consulting for new construction
  • Contractor access management

Implementation lead

Amazon Key

Amazon Key gives couriers controlled access to residential buildings, which cuts the lobby congestion, the missed deliveries, and the front-desk workload that parcel volume creates.

We lead Amazon Key implementation end to end, and pair it with parcel locker consulting where volume justifies it, so the parcel strategy fits the building rather than the other way round.

Where we use it

  • Amazon Key implementation across a portfolio
  • Parcel locker consulting and sizing
  • Access control ecosystem planning
Certified consultants

Certification

Suite Spot Certified

4 Pillars holds Suite Spot Certified consultant status. That means operators already running the platform get help from people who know it properly, and operators evaluating it get an assessment from someone who has configured it in the field.

Where we use it

  • Platform configuration and onboarding support
  • Independent evaluation for operators comparing systems
  • Operational technology onboarding for site teams

Beyond the platforms

Smart building work we take on.

Technology integration is one of our nine practice areas. The platforms above are where most engagements start, not where they end.

  • Smart building solutions
  • Access control ecosystem planning
  • Digital access strategy
  • Parcel locker consulting
  • Operational technology onboarding
  • Leasing and CRM technology onboarding

For vendors and suppliers

Building something operators actually need?

We are always assessing systems that make buildings safer, more secure, cleaner, or more compliant. If that is what you have built, we would like to see it.

What we look for

  • A clear operational problem it solves, named in plain terms
  • A realistic retrofit path for existing building stock
  • Training and support a site team can actually rely on
  • References from operators at comparable portfolio scale

Next step

Planning a technology rollout?

Bring us in early. The cheapest time to fix an access strategy or a leasing platform decision is before the purchase order.

  • Build trust.
  • Protect assets.
  • Strengthen communities.
  • Deliver results.
